Description: Aarti (Smita Patil) is an educated girl living with her young brother Sanjay Verma & mother. She joins as the personal secretary to Jolly (Shakti Kapoor).Meanwhile Vijay (Raj Babbar) develops a desire that he should marry Arthi, although he does not propose her directly. One day Vijay finds that Arthi's brother is a drug addict and thus informs promptly to Arthi and Arti convinces her brother to join Army so that he becomes a disciplined person in his life.After a few days Jolly tries to rape Arthi and Vijay comes to the rescue of Arthi. Meanwhile Arthi participates in function where she is supposed to dance and there she is noticed for her dancing skills by the audience and from the audience section, after seeing her performance,Vijay's friend Ravi falls in love with Aarthi.Ravi even secures permission from his and her parents to marry her and gets engaged to her and after that Ravi goes abroad.But there is a twist in fate when Jolly manages to find a chance to rape Aarthi and thus Aarthi's life gets destroyed. On learning the truth, Ravi's parents cancel Ravi's mairrage to Aarthi and at this juncture Aarthi finds out that Vijay was loving her since many days.Vijay offers to marry her but his own mother disapproves of this alliance on knowing that Aarthi is girl who was raped in past.Disillusioned, Aarthi goes and meets the courtesan Hirabai and becomes a Tawaif.After few months her brother returns to the town and on being aware of the events which took place, decides to kill Jolly but he himself gets killed by Jolly and to take revenge back Aarthi murders Jolly.The rest of the story is about how the court cases happen and what sentence would be pronounced for Aarthi and whom will she marry at last?
Description: Jailer Vishwa Pratap Singh (Dilip Kumar) changed his fate forever when he slapped captured terrorist Dr. Michael Deng (Anupam Kher) as, soon after his sons and daughter in law are murdered by Deng's men. He is left with his wife Rukmani (Nutan) who loses her speech after the mishap and a crippled son. Singh now called Dada Thakur resolves to bring Deng to book and therefore, recruits three defaulters of law sentenced to death Baiju Thakur (Jackie Shroff), Jonny/Gyaneshwar (Anil Kapoor) and a former terrorist Khairudding Khisti (Naseeruddin Shah). While Dad Thakur is doing everything to teach them combat tricks, the three accomplices are busy enjoying their freedom and a life away from confirmed deaths.
