Description: An awards after party happens after a fire on a set during which all 9 suspects other than the above lead actors were also present. It so happens that Zara is drunk and she insults Chandni by calling her a wannabe actress and whore who sleeps with other co actors and Zara's costar "ronnie" also falsely pretends as If he has slept with Chandni. A cat fight follows between Zara and Chandni. When Virmaan sees this he rescues Chandni but on hearing ronnies lie he mistrusts her and Chandni runs away from there crying.
After that even Zara goes up to freshen up and happens to meet KD on the terrace. When they start making out, KD hears his wife comes and tells Zara to hide from there. Zara in her drunken stupor refuses and KD gets scared so he pushes her with his elbow. Unfortunately he runs away from there without realising that she didn't fall on the ground below but is left hanging from the lower parapet. When Subba sees her and she begs for help, he holds her hand and then suddenly jerks her off so she dies and he gains publicity for the movie that has flopped so if regains box office momentum and becomes a hit.
When Virmaan is falsely implicated in this death, Ravi Kumar decides to save him as even though they both have rivalry, Virmaan was Chandni's ex love and Ravi Kumar says he will treasure everything that Chandni ever held dear. For this he uses his don step brothers contacts and gets Virmaan released.
Finally KD and Subba are convicted and jailed for murder. In the end it is revealed that even after being dropped from the floor by Subba, Zara had actually survived and was vaguely conscious in the wee hours of the morning following the party and was lying bleeding on the beachside behind the building. Then, it is shown that Chandni after being humiliated is sitting drunk nearby the body on the beach and she actually sees Zara make movement. She walks over to Zara, and just as Zara opens her eyes, Chandni remembers what Zara did to her and how she caused Virmaan to mistrust and dump Chandni, and she smashes the bottle of champaigne that she is holding onto Zara's skull, thereby killing her finally. It is also shown that Ravi Kumar sees what Chandni does and to save her due to his love, he escorts her away from there immediately and prevents her from being caught.
Then, just as everyone is leaving the court premises after the conviction, Ravi Kumar hugs Chandni and she confesses she loves him and they become a couple and it is during this time that Ravi Kumar, who was a principled law abiding officer, and always digressed with his outlaw step brother actually agrees with his step brothers words that in love, even the unlawful seems just and right. The end.
